Supergirl Season 1 Episode 10

Can we plz get a FINALLY!! Jeremy Jordan being his true, awesome self and not just the shy nerd boy who never tells the girl his real feelings because he doesn't want to ruin the friendship. WELL THEN, after this episode, too late fo dat.
BUT YES, the episode title is well said because yes, Kara is childish. But we'll get to that.
I was so happy to see that he has anger inside Winn from his dad being in prison and that there was a chance for him to break out of his shell which is what I've always wanted for him because it's Jeremy Freakin' Jordan. He was made for this. That and singing, he has the voice of an angel. I know that in real life he's probably just as big of a softie as Winn is but this episode just gave me confirmation that they've been underplaying his character big time when he was so much more than Supergirl's unknown sidekick and that he had his own demons. I just didn't appreciate the writers bringing the love storyline into that moment.
I was very angry at that attempted kiss for two reasons.
- That was a friend to friend talk, something he needed to hear from a friend - BUT I can understand why the lines were blurred. She was there when he needed her most, but of course his feelings for Kara escalated and he was in the moment. Maybe it's because I'm more of a shy person around people I have feelings for and wouldn't drop that type of bombshell especially when I was going through something as big as 'My psycho dad escaped from prison.' In the heat of the moment when there's escalated emotions, he needed to get it out, because as he mentioned, he was afraid he was going to burst. And that's kind of bittersweet for me as an avid TV show watcher. I love when a character that you don't see much all of a sudden emerges from their secrets and you can truly see what they're capable of both as actors and as the written character themselves - BUT, that can also cause them to make rash decisions or do things that can corrode the storyline that I once thought was actually going places. However even though I didn't like the timing, it was well beyond time that Kara pulled her head out of James' ass (and herself's I guess) and see that she is hurting someone that actually cares more about her (and that she's supposed to care for) than anyone else.
- THE FACT THAT SHE PULLED AWAY. Yes, it was awkward. Yes, it was unexpected. Yes, she sees him as a friend. BUT he was going through something. The least she could have done was stayed for a second or two. But she literally pulled away after a peck. DID YOU EVEN SEE THE WAY HE GRABBED HER FACE?!?! It was v sexy // maybe not sexy per say but it was gorg and then she's just like 'nup, no thanks, even though you've been through shit and I've been kind of a shit friend even though you help me erryday as supergirl but hey I'm here for you because some real shit actually happened to you, you're not getting out of the friendzone that easy.' Um. You could've just let him be happy in his sad time for one moment without being rude.
So after that I rage snapped and I have it below just incase you wanted to see the kiss (for lack of a better word) again.
Other than that, there's not much else I want to say other than I really ship Alex and Maxwell even though they completely catfished him in the ep and he's gonna be getting back at them big time, there's no denying their chemistry. Plus seeing Hank Henshaw in his true self is kind of creepy. PLUS OMG MAXWELL FINDING OUT THAT ALEX AND SUPERGIRL ARE like sisters.
I guess that's all I wanted to say.
I guess this post was mainly a tribute to Jeremy Jordan and may Winn survive his ultimate testament of love (im being ironic coz it wasnt ultimate ja feel) (but it's better than James will ever do) (Which I'm guessing Jara will happen even tho I love Jenna Tatum and I ship Jucy) (But you know writers) (Always in favor of the main character's needs) (Love triangles are so overrated I hate them) (But like Wara might happen) (But it'll be like for 2 eps) (Then she'll say it's weird and he'll find someone 10x better than her) (ok i may be wrong) (or this may be in a different order) (but like how annoying are these parenthesises) (Ima get back to what I was saying now) and somehow stay as kara's besty from another testy or will he actually get her to feel his testys? Too graphic? Maybe notsomuch (sorry cbs)
